KAYA 22 - Stitch Me A Song

This is my Take for February'09, Kaya 22 hosted by Marissa. She challenged us to make a layout about our love ones incorporated with a song.

Maybe most of you are not familiar with this song. It’s a ballad written by Jo Brooks and featured in a movie of the same name. It became the most successful single of the 1970’s in USA. Many famous singers have covered this song since 1977. Johnny Mathis recorded the song the following year and LeAnn Rimes released her version as a single in 1997.
It is a beautiful song, beautifully sung ! HERE

I chose this song “You Light Up My Life” because of the meaningful title. I remember way back dreaming of having a family. Now that I realized that dream, I thank God everyday for the good life that I now have. I have two loving guys who brighten my life! They’re the light of my life!

You Light Up My Life

Journaling:
So many nights I sit by my window
Waiting for someone to sing me his song
So many dreams I kept deep inside me
Alone in the dark but now
You've come along
You light up my life
You give me hope
To carry on
You light up my days and
fill my nights with song
It can’t be wrong
When it feels so right
‘Cause you …
You Light Up My Life
