ButterflyCraft - December '08 Challenge 1

The first challenge at "Butterfly crafts" will be to create a layout about a person or the people who inspire you. Whether it be a family member, friend or someone you have never met.

And here is my take ...

BIG SISTER

Since I was young, my older sister has inspired me in many ways because she has shown strength in times of great hardship and makes a sincere effort in all her endeavors.
STRONG - having great physical on mental power; capable of enduring great hardships or intense emotions; morally firm; determines, courageous, tough.
GENUINE - truly sincere, not artificial; real in all aspects; possessing integrity.
Techniques:
I tore a printed pattern paper and applied chalk along the edges, glued on the orange base pattern paper and stitched the edges. Glued 3 different colored ribbons verticallly on the left hans side then, attached bows and fibers. Glued definition ephemeras into the page with fibers, after tearing and applying ink to the edges. Matted the 4' x 6' photo with blue, yellow and brown card stock and glued on the right hand side of the page. Glued die-cut title "BIG SISTER" and folded the the two right corner with brads.
